Trip to See Grandma!!!

This weekend the kids and I hitched hiked with Kathy and her kids to go see Grandma Realaine. We thought that it would be fun to surprise Grandma that more than just Kathy and her kids were going. It was very funny when Kathy went up to the door and was holding Morgan while I was still getting Tristan out of the car, Grandma looked at Kathy and then looked over and seen me and Tristan and was very excited. It was a fun weekend but the poor kids were jam packed into the van. When you have 5 kids 6 years and younger all in one vehicle it is a tight fit. But they were good sports about it and very excited to spend time together. Grandma fixed us dinner and then we went to the park. It was fun having the kids be able to run and play after the long drive. The next day Grandma watched all the kids while Kathy and I went and did some shopping and then we met at the Washington Comm Ctr and took the kids swimming. We didn't get any pics of swimming but we had our hands full. Then we met George for lunch and went to Cedar to the Discovery Park. Then was the long ride home where Morgan who was good all day until he decided he did not want to be in the carseat at all. Sorry other kids and Kathy for having to hear him scream. We even stopped so that I could feed him and he didn't want to eat he wanted to play. All in all it was a fun weekend filled to the brim. Thanks Mom for letting us stay and Kathy for letting us go with us These are at the Discovery Park and are from my phone. (Ish had my camera) Tristan and Trenton were best buddies the whole weekend.

Tristan's Birthday Party!!!

We had a small family and friend party for Tristan and that means that it is not very small. We were afraid that it might rain and ruin the day but thank goodness only the wind blew (haha). We tried to have the party at the park and when we left our house it was breezy but when we got to the park it was blowing like a hurricane, so we decided that we would go to our house and try to squeeze all thirty of us into our small house but 4 blocks from the park the wind wasn't too bad. It really turned out to be a nice day.

I had a lot of pics and had a hard time deciding which ones to use so there are a bunch.

Everybody had plenty to eat I hope because there was a lot left over.
The kids had fun hitting the pinata.

It broke when Trenton got some solid hits in.

I don't know what everybody is looking at but I'm sure it is something really interesting. Maybe George's toe????

Tristan got a ton of really nice presents and loves playing with them.

Well once I figured out that Tristan wanted a cake with tractors on it that is what he got. (thanks Kathy for picking up the tractors!!)

We asked Tristan what he wanted at his party and he said that we needed party hats.

Tristan had a great day and we all want thank everyone that came it was a really fun day!!!!

Happy Birthday Tristan

Finally it is here. Tristan has been so excited for his birthday. He always pretends it is and practices blowing out the candles. What a wonderful blessing he has been in our lives. He is such a sweet little person most of the time. He is a wonderful brother and so much fun. He is so smart and amazes me everyday on everything he knows. Poor kid was sick on his birthday. I felt so bad but we made the best ofit. On his birthday(17th) I made him a cake. Yes it is not the best looking cake and it had kind of an accident. Tristan has been asking for a tractor cake ever since he went to his friend Gavin's birthday and that is what he had. I though with some practice I can make him one for his party and this is my first practice one. But Tristan loved it and "helped" every step of the way.

We are doing a big party for him on Saturday so we just let him open one present. It was spurs which he has been asking for forever. He was so happy to get them he had to try them on even though he had shorts on.

He then had to model them.

I might be a little predjudiced but I think I have the cutest boy in all the world.

Tristan we love you very much and hope you had a good birthday!!!!

Weekend Fun

We went to the Arts Festival in Fillmore this weekend and had alot of fun. The kids got to ride the horse and carriage and this year they dared to ride by themselves. The best thing about the festival is that everything for the kids is free. The got to ride the train and jump in the bouncy houses all for free. They also got to see the very large oxen. (yes that is pee and they pee a whole lake. I had a picture of the kids and Ish in front of the oxen but it won't email off of my phone) I still can't believe how big they are. The kids even enjoyed looking at all the art. We had planned on letting the kids pick something out to buy but we couldn't find anything for Tristan but Abby got a really cute bracelet.
It is unreal how some people are so talented. I wish that I had any sort of a talent. It was a really fun and easy day.

Labor Day Weekend

We had the best weekend. It was simple but fun. I had to get kinda sad when we went shopping for Tristan and Morgan some new clothes and realized how big my boys are getting. Ish picked up a shoe in the size that I told him and said this will never fit it is way too big. But when we put it on Tristan it was perfect. And then shopping for clothes for him in the boy section instead of the infant toddler section really just about brought me to tears. And then there was Morgan who is just growing so fast. I had been so excited because I was planning on using all Tristan's clothes for Morgan but they are all of a season so we had to buy him new clothes for fall as well. And it is a good thing we did with how cold it got this weekend. It was a fun day and the boys were really good even when Morgan decided to spill my water all over himself when the waiter set it too close to him. The look on his face was priceless when all the cold water splashed down on him. At least I asked for no ice in it.

On Monday we went to the horse races in Parowan and the Iron County Fair. Tristan rode down with Grandpa Gene and Lori and Grandma Realaine and Brad were there. George rode in like 4 or 5 races and won three(I think I counted right) We were concerned with the weather before we left and almost didn't go but once we got past Beaver it was blue sky and perfect temperature. Tristan had a lot of fun on the rides (Thanks Dad and Lori for taking him) and the food was so good. (Fried bread with strawberries and whipped cream yummy) Morgan was so good all day I don't think he even cried once. He is starting to really like to be "OUT" and watching people.
My only regret is that I forgot my camera to take any pictures.

Jumperoo!!

Yeah!!! Morgan finally likes something. He will bounce and laugh for about a half an hour at a time. If he wants in and you walk by while holding him he leans down to try to get to it. Tristan reminds me everytime that the bouncer belongs to Carter(thanks again Jen for letting us use it).

It is so nice that he will be entained by something other than someone talking to him!!!
Once again tried to upload video NOT WORKING
