(Super long post with no pics please don't feel obligated to read it) I will post pictures later I am to lazy to upload them now
We had a really nice Christmas this year and it seemed that the celebrating started early and ended late. We started by having a Christmas/birthday party with my mom the weekend before Christmas where she gave us our presents and we exchanged the sibling/cousin gifts. And then Christmas Eve we went to the ward Christmas Party and seen Santa. Tristan was so excited to see Santa he had a hard time waiting for his turn. In fact Tristan has been so fun this entire month about Christmas. He has watched every Christmas movie he could and was just so excited about Santa. He even wanted to sing Christmas songs at every get together especially "We Wish You a Merry Christmas". He had to watch "Mickey's Once and Twice upon a Christmas" several times (thanks Kathy for letting us borrow them)from watching them he decided that we needed a star on the tree, and several other traditions that he wanted to start. It is so amazing how watching Christmas though your kids eyes brings on a whole new meaning to Christmas.
On Christmas eve we were supposed to go over to the Aleman's and have there Christmas party but Tristan didn't have a nap all day so he fell asleep at 8:00 and there is no waking him up. So we went over in the morning and ate and opened their presents to us and Ish's sister Melissa had sent presents from New York for our kids. Later on Christmas we went to my Dad and Lori's house where once again more presents, and delicious food. Then even more presents for our kids the Saturday after Ish's sister Esme brought her presents for the kids. So it seems like Christmas has been going on for weeks now. I know that yes we are so spoiled with so many people that love us and our kids.
Now onto our own family Christmas, Tristan and I made Santa his favorite cookies on Christmas Eve, Snikerdoodles and then left them out and Tristan said that they needed to be left on the stove with milk. I told him that I would put the milk out later seems how Santa likes his milk really cold and Tristan was falling asleep so early and that was okay with him. Tristan had decided he wanted to ask Santa for a backhoe that digs like this (and he would do some motion with his hands) after looking online for one and showing Tristan many pictures I figured out he wanted an excavator backhoe. Not very easy to find. But Santa can do anything right? So he had to order it online and it was not as big as he thought it was going to be so the Saturday before Christmas he had to start looking again for the hard to find toy. But ended up getting some of the other stuff on Tristan's list to make up for the "small" backhoe. Morgan decided he wanted his two front teeth for Christmas so he did not sleep at all on Christmas Eve or the few nights that followed but they are through finally yeah!!! Abby (we had her the second half of Christmas this year) asked for fairy stuff. Christmas morning at seven Tristan woke up and was so exited to come see what Santa had brought and was very please with everything that he got. Morgan was more excited than I thought that he would be too. Abby between both houses I think that see got everything she wanted as well. Ish once again spoiled me and I hope he was happy with what I got him. We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

Funny Things Kids Say or Do
(This is just so that I can remember this things when my kids get older)
I asked Tristan if he was ready to eat lunch and he told me "I already ate my lunch up on the mountain in the truck."
Morgan fakes sneezes. He has always laughed really hard if anyone sneezes real or fake and I guess he wants in on the fun.
Morgan whistles.
Sometimes I will tell Tristan it is time to clean up and he says, "Later, I am busy."
While banging a hammer Tristan will say "Mom say Whats all that noise" which I do and then he answers "I am just doing my work and I will stop when I am done."
Morgan hates for whoever holding him to not pay attention. If I am stirring something on the stove he will lean in front of my face and smile.
Ish was outside with Tristan and Tristan starts walking towards the house and mutters "son of a b#^$* I forgot my phone"

Abby's Dance
This weekend we were able to go watch Abby dance at the Christmas Gift Show. She is such a good dancer!!! The place was packed with people (some not so nice. A lady got mad because I was standing in her way and apparently didn't move my two kids and stroller fast enough. And after her comment I felt like slapping her or at least saying something mean back but I restrained my self.) Back to Abby, she danced her witch doctor routine that was really cute with really cute costume. Her dance school is a really good school and she loves to dance. After we were able to take Abby home with us which was really nice because we hadn't had her down her for almost two months.
Pictures of the dance aren't that great but I was too far away.

Happy Halloween
Halloween is not my favorite holiday at all but I do very much enjoy seeing my kids have fun. Tristan has been so excited about Halloween for a long time and he chose to be a cowboy. Right when it was time to get ready he said he wanted to be a Lion but I told him maybe next year. We had a cow costume from when Tristan was one and thought that it would be cute to have a cowboy and a little calf. Morgan loved his costume and just smiled and laughed after I put it on. We went to the town party and then went to a few houses Trick or Treating. Tristan wanted to do more but was so tired so we went home early. I had planned on getting more pictures when we got home but Tristan was so tired he took off his clothes as he was walking in the door and before we left he was too exited to pose for one more picture.
Nice pic of me I know but the kids looked cute. We walked down one street as Ish followed in the car.

Tagged
Thanks Maria! This one is fun but there are so many quirky things about me
Rules:A. People who are tagged need to post these rules, and 8 random habits/facts/quirks about themselves.B. At the end of the post you need to choose 8 people to get tagged and list their names.Eight things about me...
1. I am really funny about milk. I love to drink milk from a new carton. I am getting better now, I can drink from a carton that is more than half empty as long as I know that it has not sat out at all.
2. I am obsessed with a complete set. (mostly with the kids toys) I hate when something is missing and will tear apart the house looking for one block.
3. I can't relax if the house isn't clean
4. I hate wasting food, time or money. But mostly food. I will eat food even when very full instead of throwing it away.
5. I hate being wrong. But I am a lot.
6. I love to learn new things.
7. I am really good a starting a project but loose steam half way through. Like my living room. I pulled up the carpet and found beautiful wood floors and now a few weeks(OK more like a month) ago I still haven't got them sanded and stained.
8. I hate to touch raw meat especially chicken. I usually cut it up while it is still frozen
I tag everybody that reads this!

A huntin' we will go!
Ish went and did some serious hunting this weekend. He and Cody and Cody's Grandpa hiked all over these mountains, camped for two nights and never even seen a deer. So much work for nothing. He had to go back to work on Monday and thought all chance was for a deer was lost. Tuesday after work he went out again and nothing. He said that the next day he would shoot anything with horns and on his way to work he got one and it was not a little one. Goes to show that sometimes all you need is a little luck to be in the right place at the right time.

First Snow!!!
I know I am slow but very busy. This was three days before the storm and it was about 80 degrees. I took the kids to the park to enjoy the "last warm day of the year" and then....

This. Tristan was so excited for it to snow. He just wanted to touch it with his gloves. The next morning we went it to church and there was still snow on the ground but when we came out it was gone. Tristan walked through the doors and looked around and just broke down into tears and said where did "my" snow go. It was so cute.

Morgan is growing up!!!
He can be so sweet at times!!
This is what he thought about getting his picture taken. The other day he sat in the cart at the store and spit with his tongue out through the whole store. He also gives and loves to receive raspberries. He is at such a fun age.

Tristan's Birthday Party!!!
We had a small family and friend party for Tristan and that means that it is not very small. We were afraid that it might rain and ruin the day but thank goodness only the wind blew (haha). We tried to have the party at the park and when we left our house it was breezy but when we got to the park it was blowing like a hurricane, so we decided that we would go to our house and try to squeeze all thirty of us into our small house but 4 blocks from the park the wind wasn't too bad. It really turned out to be a nice day.
I had a lot of pics and had a hard time deciding which ones to use so there are a bunch.
Everybody had plenty to eat I hope because there was a lot left over.
The kids had fun hitting the pinata.

It broke when Trenton got some solid hits in.

Happy Birthday Tristan
Finally it is here. Tristan has been so excited for his birthday. He always pretends it is and practices blowing out the candles. What a wonderful blessing he has been in our lives. He is such a sweet little person most of the time. He is a wonderful brother and so much fun. He is so smart and amazes me everyday on everything he knows. Poor kid was sick on his birthday. I felt so bad but we made the best ofit. On his birthday(17th) I made him a cake. Yes it is not the best looking cake and it had kind of an accident. Tristan has been asking for a tractor cake ever since he went to his friend Gavin's birthday and that is what he had. I though with some practice I can make him one for his party and this is my first practice one. But Tristan loved it and "helped" every step of the way.
We are doing a big party for him on Saturday so we just let him open one present. It was spurs which he has been asking for forever. He was so happy to get them he had to try them on even though he had shorts on.

I might be a little predjudiced but I think I have the cutest boy in all the world.
